A body has been found at the Southern California Lake, where on 8 July “Glee” star Naya Rivera has been missing. Authorities said the body was found on Monday morning at lake Piru. Till now there is no information on whether the body has been identified but authorities plan an afternoon news conference.
The “Glee” star disappeared July 8 after she took her young son out on a rented boat.
Robert Inglis, of the Ventura County sheriff’s office search and rescue team stated that Naya Rivera sent one of her family member a picture of a four-year-old son Josey in front of a cove before she disappeared. The pictures sent to a family member shows that the boy on the boat by a cove was her son Josey and the photo was been taken 90 minutes to 2 hours before the boy was found alone on the pontoon boat.
Inglis told US weekly that the area where the photo was taken and the spot where the boat was found was starting points of authorities before the search was expanded. He also added that he send the dive members to the locations in search for her but no clue has been discovered.
The authorities believe that Rivera was drowned, as her son told the investigators that he and his mother went swimming and he got back on the boat but his mum never made it out of the water.
