Our honourable PM, Mr. Narendra Modi on 5th of August will lay the foundation stone of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The information given by Swami Govind Dev Giri, the treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust.
Before laying the foundation stone for the construction of the temple, PM Modi will offer prayers. Lord Ram at the temple and Lord Hanuman at Hanuman Garhi Temple. All chief ministers from different states will atend the programme. Swami Govind Dev Giri, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra confirms.
Due to the coronavirus
Amid the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure maximum social distancing at the programme. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra has decided that there will not be more than 200 people, including 150 invitees at the foundation stone laying ceremony.
“PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Ram Temple on August 5. To ensure social distancing at the programme, we’ve decided not more than 200 people to attend. Only 150 devotees,” Swami Govind Dev Giri said.
About the construction dispute
A five-judge Supreme Court bench led by then Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi ruled in favour of Ram Lalla. The entire disputed land spread over 2.7 acres it is handed over to a trust formed by the government, who monitors the construction of a Ram Temple.
Giri said the main saints from Ayodhya and across the country, social workers and political leaders will be invited for the event. “The structure is almost ready. The (designing) work of the temple is given to the Sompura family who designed the Somnath Temple, Amba Temple, Swaminarayan Temple in Delhi.
L&T will carry out the construction work. The company is going to work without any profit but we will give them a nominal profit. Finally, India succeded in building the Ram Mandir and soon the foundation stone will be placed.
