Kapil Jhaveri was a short time bollywood actor. He was took under captive from his own rave party on Sunday. The actor was having his rave party in his villa in Vagator village in North Goa.
Kapil along with his wife and three women foreign nationals is under arrest. Apart from them 23 others were also guilty.
The raid was by the crime branch and narcotics. 9 lakh rupees was seized from the party that was going on amid the COVID-19 pandemic on Saturday night. Under the Anjuna police station limits, they said.
They were using drugs like, cocaine, MDMA, charas and other chemical substance which are illegal.
“Jhaveri and three foreign nationals — two women from Russia and another from Czech Republic — taken under stringent Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, for allegedly possessing banned substance during the police raid,” Superintendent of Police Crime Branch Shobhit Saxena said. “Nineteen others were under arrest for violating the rules related to social distancing,” he said.

Trajano D’mello, Congress spokesperson Goa, said, “The government is doing nothing to curb the drug mafia in Goa. The main accused in the rave party case has contacts right from the top. There is no way the investigation is going to happen in an impartial manner. All institution have failed.”
