Russia will register the world’s first Covid vaccine against COVID-19. The vaccine is developed jointly by the Gamaleya Research Institute and the Russian Defence Ministry.
Alexander Gintsburg, director of the Gamaleya National Research Centre. Said that vaccine used inanimate particles created on the basis of adenovirus.
He said there are no concerns that the vaccine could potentially cause harm to a person’s health.
“The particles and objects who reproduce their own kind is alive. The particles in question cannot multiply”.
Ppeople naturally have a fever after given the vaccine. The person receiving the vaccine will have a powerful boost. The “side-effect” can easily overcome by taking paracetamol, he added.
Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova promised to start “industrial production” in September, and Murashko said mass vaccination may begin as early as October.
